Cars 2 is a 2011 American 3D computer-animated spy action-adventure comedy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures. It is the sequel to 2006's Cars and the second film in the Cars franchise. starring the voices cast is Owen Wilson, Larry the Cable Guy, Bonnie Hunt, Tony Shalhoub, Cheech Marin, Michael Wallis, Paul Dooley, Jenifer Lewis, Guido Quaroni, Katherine Helmond, John Ratzenberger, Michael Caine, Emily Mortimer, John Turturro, Eddie Izzard, Thomas Kretschmann, Joe Mantegna, Peter Jacobson, and Jason Isaacs. In the film the race car Lightning McQueen and best friend Tow truck Mater head to Japan and Europe to compete in the World Grand Prix, but Mater has becomes sidetracked with international espionage he has going on his own with some spy cars including Finn McMissile, a British spy and Holley Shiftwell a beautiful young British desk agent they tries to stopping the bad guys to take over the Grand Prix and even Sir Miles Axlerod did this to Mater for leaking the oil at the party in Tokyo, Japan now Sir Axlerod has been arrested by the British police cars for his crimes thanks to Mater the bravest heroic tow truck. When the villains are defeated Mater is knighted by the Queen of the United Kingdom and a new race is held in Radiator Springs. Mater is offered to join McMissile and Shiftwell on another mission, but he chooses to stay in Radiator Springs. He does, however, get to keep the rocket engines he acquired as the two agents take off in Siddeley, the British spy jet.
