Deutsch: Die Millennium Bridge in London für Fußgänger aus dem Jahr 2000 überquert die Themse von der City of London zur Südseite. Die Architekten Foster + Partners, die auch zwischen 1994 und 1999 den reichstag in Berlin als Sitz des Bundestages umgebaut hatten, entwarfen die Brücke zusammen mit dem Bildhauer Anthony Caro. Die Statik berechnete die Arup Group.

English: The London Millennium Bridge, was completed in 2000. The bridge crosses the Thames from the City of London to Bankside. It was designed by Foster and Partners with Anthony Caro and constructed by Ove Arup.
