Oghuz Khagan, Oghuz ruler. His father was Qara Khan, according to Rashid ad-Din.^[1] Oḡuz was born to the family of Qarā Khan, son of Dib Yāwqu Khan, and his unnamed wife (Rašid-al-Din, 2005, pp. 1-2).[1][2]
